Warning, this is VERY long!

This was my 2nd cruise on NCL, my first being on the Sun to the Caribbean. We enjoyed that cruise so much, I purchased the Cruise Reward certificate on board to use towards our next cruise. A great value for anyone who knows they are going to cruise again at some point on NCL.

Pre Cruise: We live in Maryland so drove to the NYC area the day before. Stayed at the Meadowlands Sheraton which is in NJ, but only about 7 miles from the cruise port. I used Hotwire to get the hotel and it was a great deal for the NYC area at $105.00 per night (including tax). A very nice hotel that I would highly recommend. We went into NYC Saturday night, had dinner and just walked around Time Square for a while. It was such a nice, relaxing way to start the cruise, not having to deal with airlines. I highly recommend driving to the cruise port if that is possible for you as it's so much more relaxing, not to mention cheaper.

Great cabin. Handicapped room. Plenty of storage space. Great location just off of elevators.
