This was my 9th cruise, the second time on the Paradise. We traveled with 2 other families, with children.

Embarkation: This was nightmarish for us since we forgot to do our "Fun Pass" online. I didn't remember to until the night before and since it was so close to boarding, I got locked out! We stood in one line to get baggage tags (couldn't print them online!). The we stood in another line to get checked in. This took longer than usual because we were not already checked in and because the employee couldn't find the cards to one of our rooms. I highly suggest that you do everything online at least a week before, so you don't have any delays. As a veteran cruiser, I should've known better! Big "ooops" on my part. After that, getting on board went pretty smoothly and we immediately found our friends at the Lido deck and had lunch.

Rooms: We had an indoor cabin, ok size, but very dark. The ship is beginning to show it's age (especially in the bathrooms), but the carpet was immaculate and the sheets/towels were clean. The bowl that comes with "complimentary" razors, toothpaste, and deodorant was empty on arrival, but was filled up after we came back from dinner. Had no idea who the cabin steward was, but he or she did a good job keeping the room clean and making towel animals.

Cabin Review

Indoor cabin was very dark. The bathrooms are really begining to show their age. Carpets were very clean.
