This was my second cruise, first with Princess. The cruise was average. Nothing in comparison to the Eastern Caribbean on Royal Caribbean, Explorer of the Seas. The service was average. The employees acted like it was torture to be there and certainly didn't act like they were aboard a brand new ship. The nicest person we encountered the entire cruise was our Cabin Steward. He was pleasant, extremely prompt, and always acknowledged us. The food was nothing in comparison to Royal Caribbean. Everything was very repetitive. The Personal Choice Seating was a joke. We were under the assumption the Personal Choice meant you could dine at your leisure; however, they failed to inform us that it meant we still needed dinner reservations. After standing in line for 35 minutes on the first formal night we were turned away and told that everyone with reservations must be seated first. We were extremely unhappy and ate another boring buffet which was pretty much what was on the buffet in one dining room or the other...

The entertainment was average. The comedians left a lot to be desired and the shows were average.

The huge movie screen was OK, but again, reservations required. Who wants to make reservations when you are on vacation??
