My husband and I were really looking forward to this cruise. It was our first time on NCL after 6 Princess cruises, and it would be our first time cruising in a Penthouse Suite. Got to say, while I loved the suite and especially the bathroom (it was better than my bathroom at home!) - We were pretty disappointed in NCL.

The Room: The room was beautiful and had many extras you normally don't get. Unfortunately, the perks weren't quite working the way they should have. THe DVD player wasn't correctly hooked up to the TV, so you could play a CD or watch TV, but no DVD's. We were supposed to have received water in our room, but had to ask for it several times before it was delivered. The room came with a lavish bar and several glasses, but heaven help you if you used the glasses in the bar or the bathroom, because they were never replaced all week.

The room had a wonderful bathroom and the towels were wonderfully luxurious bath sheets. Apparently this must be a perk for the penthouse suites because our travel companions had the regular towels you find on cruise ships.
