We went to Bermuda on 8/24 on the Dawn. All in all, this was a great trip! My husband and I lived in Bermuda for 7 years and this was our first time back with our children (ages 8, 8 and 6) since leaving the island 5 years ago (we are US citizens and were there for work). We have never cruised before and were really excited about traveling back via ship.

We stayed in an AB penthouse suite and it was worth every penny. Lovely room, lovely balcony. The room was spotless when we boarded around 12 o'clock. It only took a matter of minutes to check our bags, check in and board the ship. Our children loved the room, especially all the TVs and their own little bedroom. We had a butler, Carmen, who was especially sweet and polite.

We tried several of the specialty restaurants and we were pleased with all... Teppanyaki with the kids was a real treat, hubby and I had dinners at Le Bistro and Cagney's which were both wonderful, and we took the kids to Impressions the last night. We also ate in the main dining rooms, Aqua and Venetian. Both were fine. The specialty restaurants were better and worth the "cover charge", in my opinion. Servers were all nice and pleasant and accommodating.
