Our flight on United airlines went from Memphis to Chicago and then on to London Heathrow. We arrived at Heathrow on time and Immigration was only a short wait...maybe about 10 minutes. We found the Dot to Dot desk in the terminal and only waited about 20 minutes for all the other shuttle passengers to arrive. Great service for a reasonable price!

Arrived at the Cavendish early, but there was no problem checking in at that time. The room wasn't huge, but it was really well kept and clean. We had the breakfast both mornings, which was included with our price for the room. Great cold buffet and made-to-order items as well. The hotel was in a great location...close to Picadilly Circus and Leicester Square. Another plus for the hotel...free wireless.

London Sightseeing. The first afternoon we visited the Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms on our own. The second day in London we took a full day tour which included the Changing of the Guards, Outside Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London, and the London Eye. We enjoyed the sightseeing, but felt the London Eye was a bit boring.
