We live on the coast in MS. so when I decided to book the cruise as a surprise for my daughter, her husband and my three grandsons, I decided we would rent a van and drive (my daughter has a fear of flying). There were 7 of us in my party - 4 adults and 3 children (boys ages 13, 13, and 8). The van trip there was tiring and of course with kids was loads of fun! lol However, the embarkation progressed very smoothly and we had arrived about 2 hours early. They allowed us on board, but we could not go to our rooms until we were given the all clear. They had food ready so we sat and ate. The food was good. Our rooms were ready quickly, but I had forgotten (2nd cruise for me and my husband) that your bags can take a while to get to the room and the kids were screaming to go swimming.

Our rooms we very nice with us having a full bed and my grandson having a single - in my daughters room they had a full bed and a set of bunk beds (which the boys loved!). Our rooms were balcony rooms and was great to set out in the chairs and feel the breeze and just RELAX!!!!

Our dinner was scheduled at 6 p.m. (they of course have open dining, but we opted for scheduled). Our wait staff were amazing! Friendly and so courteous. We fell in love with them. My grandsons even got adventurous and tried lots of new dishes they had never had before - all week. Even escargot! Thats a lot for 13 and 8 lol.

Cabin Review

Enjoyed the balcony room - only one time was it noisy and that was the last nite and they were rolling something heavy around over our heads.
