Sail Date: Feb 2008

We sailed on the Carnival Spirit on February 2nd - but before the ship left the port, my brother got married on board. The Carnival wedding staff was excellent - they arranged everything, flowers, photographer, cake, reception, etc. They allowed guests to attend the wedding that would not be staying for the cruise.

We all arrived at the ship by 10am, dressed for the wedding. Only the bride is provided with an area to get dressed (her hair was already done). The wedding group was allowed to check in and board the ship prior to all other passengers and the wedding was held in the chapel. Very nice traditional ceremony.

After the ceremony there were pictures and a reception in the adjacent lounge. All non-cruising guests had to leave the ship by 3pm.

Cabin Review

Extended balcony cabin - what an excellent upgrade!
