BACKGROUND

This cruise was a 5 night vacation for my wife and me. We are both in our early 40's (alright- mid 40's), and have cruised before. Our history is Carnival-Imagination, RCCL-Explorer of The Seas, and Disney-Wonder. This was the Aug 4th departure from NYC to St. John, NB, and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

EMBARKMENT/DISEMBARKMENT - Fantastic! We arrived at 11:15 am, and we were on by 11:40am. It was well organized, lots of people to guide you, and then, right on board! My advice..... get there early and beat the crowds. Leaving was just as fast. We had room service (you could also eat in the dining room), and chose self-assist. Self assist is where you take off your luggage yourself. We left our room at 9:20 and we were in a cab at 9:45.
