This trip was our 4th cruise. We had firstly been on the Ocean Village ship because it was billed as a cruise for 'people who don't do cruises' and as this was us (group of first timers - 4 adults and 1 teenager) we went. We had a good time and were 'hooked' but decided to try a different ship the following year.
So that led us to Thomson Emerald which we sailed on for 2 years and loved it - yes it was old but rooms were massive, food was good, crew and staff were lovely, but this year we tried a different ship as we wanted to cover other countries.
So.....we booked on to the Treasures of the Baltic on Thomson Celebration this year - again I'm a worrier so I was a bit anxious about going to colder climes etc, but needn't have worried as I think it was probably the best cruise so far!
Cabin was a lot smaller than on Thomson Emerald, but after the initial letdown it was fine for needs. We really didn't spend a lot of time in their apart from a couple of sleeping, a couple of siesta's so we weren't tired for the evening and a wash and brush up.
