Pre-Cruise: We used Avventure Bellissime for all of our tours in Venice, the Dolomites, Florence, Rome and for our private transport to the port. All were OUTSTANDING and I highly recommend this tour company.

Embarkation: We had already checked in online so this went very smoothly. We were surprised to have to surrender our passports. These were kept (and came back stamped from various ports) until we went into Egypt and carried them with us for that port. I had photocopies with me at all times and RCL gives you a passport receipt.

Ship and Cabin: the ship was nice but was starting to show its age in places. For example, our mirror in our bathroom was chipped and just looked worn. A colorful shower curtain could have added some punch to the decor even - the bathroom and room felt plain but were very comfortable, spacious for a cruise and well-kept. It was nice to have the bathtub in the junior suite instead of just the shower.

Junior Suite 8068: Nice sized with good storage space. Room looks a little worn and plain but was very comfortable. William was our room attendant. He was fabulous. The best part of this room is that it is near the secret staircase which goes up to the Spa and right to the Solarium Cafe. It is right under the spa so you will hear some noise occasionally from that. At night though, it was very quiet.
