Ahoy!!! Just back from 7 days of bliss and wanted to share with those of you planning to go and waiting to get out there.

Miami was fine flight, no problem. Last cruise we took the shuttle from the airport this time we took a cab. The cab is faster, the shuttle is safer. Up to you cost is the same. Embarkment was quick took us 1/2 hr but the doors did not open til 1 so if you get there at 12 you may not get on right away. The ship is huge!!! and beautiful we were on the 9th floor and our room was basic with a balcony. No more or less than what we have had in the past. For as many people as are onboard we did not feel crowded except in the windjammer, we did have trouble finding seating there at peek times. 1st excursion was Belize, we did not book a tour so we went to the ?? Mermaid for lunch and had cajun lobster which was great!!! The town was not impressive but those that did the tubing excursion had a blast so that is the way to go on this Island. Belikin beer was good!!

Next stop was Costa Maya and this was a great stop. We did the ruins in the early AM which I recommend due to the heat and humidity. From there we went to the fishing village of Majahaul and had lunch (fish tacos) at El Delphin. YUMMY!! This is a beautiful spot to watch the ocean and the people . They do massages here for 35 a couple and on ship it is A LOT more. Take your suits and take a cab. We had to go outside the gate to get the cab to get to this town but it was worth it. On the way out of town we picked up 2 sinks which are hand painted and we got them both for 150.00. Score!! This is the place to get the handpainted pottery etc. . The ship has a lot of this around the solarium. AWESOME.
