We just returned from the best vacation ever!!! The Pearl is a wonderful ship and we highly recommend it. Everything onboard was beautiful.

Before our cruise, I had read several negative reviews and was a little concerned. Now, I have NO idea where the negative comments came from. All the crew was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our trip an enjoyable one. Our cabin steward was awesome! Our room was always cleaned and ready when we returned from breakfast. There were 3 of us in a balcony room, and he would convert the sofa into the third bed while we were out during the evening. If we used towels during the day, they would be replaced in the evening. There were also amazing towel animals on several days. Everything onboard was spotless. We enjoyed the food, and no one onboard seemed to be going hungry!! The entertainment was great, especially Shark Bait and the crew talent show on the last night.

Alaska was awe inspiring. The scenery was magnificent. Yes, it was cold and dreary at times, but that's the climate in Alaska! We took several shore excursions, and were pleased with all of them. Read more
