Sail Date: Jul 2008

I've had the good fortune to cruise a lot (40+ weeks), and this was my first time on the Enchantment of the Seas, 8th time on RCL. This was a girls' trip with one of my best friends.

I tend not to judge cruises by ports (I can research those on my own and make the best choices for myself, so I'm rarely surprised or disappointed by ports of call) or by the newness or size of the ship itself. After sailing dozens of times on Windjammer, which is as close as you can get to camping at sea, any of the major cruise ships are plenty comfortable.

For me, the best and most memorable cruising experiences have had more to do with the warmth and efficiency of the staff than any other one factor, and I found the crew of Enchantment (other than the Guest Services Dept, which I will expand upon later) to be exceptionally accommodating, friendly and efficient.
