This was my 2nd and my husband 1st cruise...
Upon arrival to the port (we arrived at 12:30pm), we had no problems getting through and onto ship. In total, this process took around 20 minutes. We are not used to tipping and we obviously didn't tip the porter enough when we handed over money and he just gave us a very unhappy look - we decided not to use a porter on the way back out after that experience!!
There were already quite a few people on board when we arrived and we had a quick wander around and then headed to our room to drop our hand luggage off. We got to our room at 12:50pm and our room key worked already so we dropped our stuff and headed straight to the Windjammer for some lunch.
