Fly into Miami on Monday. Already had Sea Pass printed. Provide passport, ID, etc. to desk clerk. Stand in small line to board the ship. Bahama Mama in hand 3 minutes after boarding. Went immediately to excursion desk to confirm internet bookings, and to add a few more activities. Tickets provided for all with times & meeting places. Explored the ship with beverage in hand. Went back to check out our room and get our life jackets for muster drill, and travel agent had us an anniversary bottle on ice. Grabbed the bucket and went to the muster drill. Very tolerable in our state of mind. Went poolside for party and outside tropical band. Have not even left yet, and feeling very good. Took a few departure shots of the Miami harbor. At sea the party continues. Ate at the Windjammer. Plenty of choices for everyone. Evening spent time at the casino, did some shopping onboard. Time to crash, came out of the gate pretty rapidly ! Nassau: Went into town and was hounded by the locals every five feet. Mastered the "No thank you". Straw Market = Don't go. Everyone is selling the exact same things for the exact same price. Shirts, bracelets, straw items, not much more. Met at pier for Yellowbird excursion. Two fisted with the rum punch. They will make them stronger for the lushes in the crowd. Brew on sale for a price. Docked at Blackbeards island. First opportunity to get in the ocean. Pretty cool. Drinks & rental available for a cost. Stayed approx. 2hrs. Plenty of beverage on the ride back with dancing and young people getting ripped. Went to a show, Windjammer because we were not into getting dressed up for the dining room. Top deck for departure. Coco Cay = paradise. Wife went parasailing @ 8:00am. Take the first tender ship to get on the island. I discovered stingray 3 ft. away. Welcome to the ocean. Had waverunner experience at 10:00m. Short video, hit the water. Ride in group 1-10. 1 being the fastest. Pretty good rush flying over the waves with a hungover wife screaming to slow down. On the water about an hour. Lunch time at the BBQ. Get a Coco Loco before you go. Food pretty good. The rest of the day just hanging on the beach & getting a few shells for the kids. Back on ship for Windjammer & 2 for one bingo. 30.00 cards, but 2 for 1 Margarita's. Had our share. Go to lower deck to check out all the pictures they take of you. Key West: Went into town and did some drinking. You can walk down the street with open container. Also did some shopping. Met at pier for Walking Pub tour. Met a very nice couple from Chicago to hang with the rest of the day. You have four stops and receive tickets for each stop. After the tour we continued our own tour. Discovered a great bar and had lots of rounds. Ran, yes ran back to the pier in an intoxicated fear that we would miss the ship. Boarded appropriately, with minutes to spare. Met our new friends at the Schooner bar for beverage, went to a show, went to dinner. Packed bags. Final day. Feeling a little fuzzy. Chose to carry all of our bags off the ship. Advantage is that you get off first. Went to bus, flew home. Have been homesick ever since and wish we were still there. A great experience for us without kids to act carefree about life for a few days. Would love to go back, just have to convince grandma to watch our kids again !!
