Sail Date: Jul 2008
Traveled with children

On July 6th we embarked on our 5th Cruise, 1st time on Carnival as we thought it would be great for our Children 6 and 3.

Vacation is all about the attitude you choose to embrace it but overall I will share our experience - the great, frustrating and average. Carnival is your basic cruise line. We do prefer Princess but would sale Carnival again for the right price or destination. It felt comparable to Royal Caribbean overall but there are some fine details to note:

Embarkation: Wow - it was fantastic. We arrived at 11:45am and were on the ship in 1 hour with normal general boarding. We had lunch at the buffet which we enjoyed they have a great deli and pizzeria. We didn't eat the other areas of the buffet. After we ate we headed down to our room which was ready and clean! After many nightmare stories I had read we were starting off on a really great note.

Cabin Review

Cabin 5E

Very Central, Don't count on a great view, good bed arrangement for parents with 2 children (Queen bed, one bunk and a couch to bunk), Nice size closets, Basic Cruise Bathroom
