This was our first cruise and travelled as a family 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 12. Leaving 28th June from Southampton

After a nightmare 8hr car journey to Southampton we stayed at the holiday inn on the outskirts of Southampton leaving the car there for the two weeks (even with the room was cheaper than paying for parking at the dock). Waking refreshed and ready to go we set off for the port in a taxi at 11am expecting a long wait to get on board as embarkation was not until 2pm within 10mins of arriving our luggage was gone and we were checked in, walking onto the ship Excellent!!!

As it was a our first cruise we were just as excited as the kids, exploring the ship as stated in a previous review we found it good to go and find your dining table for the evening, what a size this ship is ,at 1pm our stateroom was ready.
