We are a couple in our early 50's celebrating our 30th anniversary. We traveled with another couple also in their early 50's. We stayed at the Marriott Waterfront which turned out to be directly across the street from Pier 66. The hotel was very nice! We went over to the Pike Place Market and had dinner. We were amazed at the Fish Market in the back where they throw the fish. They were selling fresh flowers everywhere and they were amazing!!! On Sunday morning we decided to go to the Space Needle which was also in walking distance of the hotel and the pier. We got back around 12:00,checked out and walked across the street to the pier.

We were on the ship within an hour. We looked around for awhile, and made dinner reservations for the next two nights. We went up to the spa and we were given a tour. We had read ahead of time about the spa pkg for $75.00 a person or $150.00 for a couple for the week or $20.00 a day. We signed up for the week and it was worth every penny!!!! We spent a lot of time there. Very relaxing and quiet!!!

Restaurants: We ate at the Blue Lagoon, Cagney's, Le Bistro, La Cucina two nights, The Garden Cafe, Indigo, and Teppanyaki inside the Lotus Garden. We ate breakfast every morning in the Cafe. The food was great. We had a lot of fun with the staff. We especially enjoyed La Cucina. We met two very nice girls there. Maria and Johanna. We had a lot of laughs with them. When we ate at the cafe we usually went over to La Cucina to eat because it was pretty crowded in the cafe seating area. We never had any trouble getting reservations and we even got into La Cucina one night without a reservation. The only surprise was that La Cucina now has a cover charge of $10.00 a person. I had read that there was no cover charge there.
