This is my 3rd cruise, disney ,Dawn,Spirit. I was excited to hear about the new 2.0 freestyle after reading some bad reviews.Just got back today 6|28|08 from the 6 day spirit from NY to Fla. and Bahamas.Embarkation went well we are latitudes members and got to use their line helped us get on faster.Champane when we got on.Hey look a sign says buy 5 beers get one free. This will cost you $25.88 per helmet full or $5.18 per bottle if you just want one.Wow those fancy drinks sure look great ....$8.95ea. hungry? how about some Teppanyaki $25.00 per head better call ahead food is good.Fillet mignon with over cooked lobster tail at Cagney's $20.00 per head took 2.5 hours for that meal not fun.Windows best place to eat on ship for free.Raffels buffet just ok food, some was good ,some bad, to each his own.Be careful going from the pool into Raffles very slippery when wet.Everywhere you go you can see germicide machines for you to sanitize your hands, great idea!Hot tubs close at 11:00pm.Saw most of the shows all were good had a good time in the galaxy of the stars bar with Darin the cruise director the place was packed.Bring on your own water bottles in your suit case theirs is $4.50 per bottle.Shore excursions: We went to coco beach fun in the sun day $39.00 per head and had a good time there.Atlantis aquaventure $129.00 per head that was a lot of fun. There is one hell of a walk from the drop off point to the water park in hot weather couldn't wait to jump in.Freeport coastline cruise and shopping tour $52.00 per head.Jumped in a boat drink as much Bahama mamas as you can in about an hour its free. But at 9:00am its hard to get just one down.Straw market small here done in one hour.THE WORST thing about this ship is the beds.We had a balcony room {sleeps 3}well maybe you your wife and baby. That so called 3rd bed is a joke. The mattress is only 1 inch thick on top of wooden lats.We had to move the small table out of the way to put the "mattress" on the floor and had to ask for some egg crate pads to put on top of that so my 17 year old son could get some type of comfort.HEY NCL, no mattress pads on the main bed hard as a rock,no robes,no drink flags where the heck is the NEW 2.0 FREESTYLE? I can not wait to get some real sleep in my own bed.
