I would like to start off by saying I'm 33, DH 35, MIL and FIL in their 50's. Our 4th Carnival cruise this was there 1st cruise. We both booked Cat. 11 rooms which were wonderful. We flew in the day before our cruise and stayed at the Westin Harbour Island Hotel. This is a great hotel for a pre-cruise stay. They had a van that drove us over to the cruise ship the next morning. Nice location, not too much of a night life.

Embarkation- Everything went smooth except for the Carnival employee checking ID's at the doors. They we closing some doors and telling people to go to the end of other lines. They could have just moved the entire line over. Some people had to wait in two lines just to enter the building. VIP check was quick and we were on the ship with in 30 minutes of entering the terminal.

Muster Drill-It was short and over with in 15-20 minutes or so. Painless. The Legend is in excellent condition. Everything was spotless. The staff was very professional and helpful. We had late dinner on the main level of the dining room. Our servers were the best! Everything we ordered was cooked how we ordered and seconds sometimes were brought with out even asking. The food was great. The dining room crew did sing 4 or 5 times that week. The songs were short and sweet! Many of the passengers got up and joined in.
