Embarkation was quick and easy. We were offered an escort to our cabin and made to feel at home very quickly. Our Balcony was very clean and although there wasn't tons of storage space like drawers, there was enough for myself and my daughter. Balcony was smaller than the average, but plenty of room for two chairs and a small table. Restaurants were great. We mostly at at the Garden and loved it. It is the smaller of the two main dining rooms and had a cozier feel to it. Staff was great as was the food. Something for everyone and service was prompt. Cagney's was nice, we had a private room in the back for the whole family and were treated like VIPs. Le Bistro was small but quiet, perfect for the adults of the group to have a nice meal, probably not the place to take small children, but food was great. Raffles was typical buffet and perfect for the days by the pool. Never had a problem finding a table and choices were plenty. Overall, this was a great ship, the staff was always friendly and going the extra mile to make the cruise relaxing. I am partial to the smaller ship and loved the size, especially travelling with the kids. Although, our family has traditionally cruised with regular dining times, we all agreed that the freestyle concept was definitely designed with the family in mind. We will be cruising NCL again. San Juan, Tortola, and Samana were nice ports and had a nice choice of things to do. In San Juan we mostly walked and shopped, it was my daughters first time there and she loved the cobble stone streets. In Tortola we did Dolphin Discovery and it was amazing. Well worth the money to do the Royal Swim. We booked direct with the Dolphin place and saved some money plus had a smaller group. In Samana we went to Grand Paradise Resort and had a nice day at the beach and pool. The spa on board was very nice and my sisters and I had a girls afternoon out with the Hot Stone massage. Although higher in price than on land, it was worth it for the girl time and helped us relax after traveling and chasing kids. Staff at the spa were great and the atmosphere was wonderful. Kids club was hit or miss for the kids. Our 2 year old loved it and was well taken care off. They had great activities that were age appropriate plus some down time for the younger ones. My 4 and 6 yr old nephews didn't care for it as much, mostly because they loved the pool area. My 10 yr old went to some activities, but spent most of the time at the pool as well. Kids pool area is one of the best I have seen. It has a toddler area that is separated so the big kids don't get rowdy and knock someone over. The kids pool has two slides and squirters, as well as, a pirate ship with hideouts in it. They also have a hot tub for the kids. There is plenty of shady areas to watch the kids as well as sunny for those that choose to be in the sun. It is overlooking the stern of the ship and the view is amazing.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BB

Very little drawer space, but although cabin was smaller than most they used the space well and never felt cramped.
