This was my 3rd cruise, and the 2nd on Carnival. The ship was absolutely awesome. It seemed much bigger than the previous ship we were on, (Carnival Victory) and a lot cleaner. Entire ship sparkled, even though it was the same age as when we cruised on the Victory. (Victory was a little dirty when we were on it, even though it was a new ship.)

The shows weren't as entertaining as our other cruise. Still very good, but just not as good as on the Victory. The Victory being 101,000 tons, and the Glory being 110,000 tons. It seems most of this extra space, is dedicated toward the public space(s). There are more eating options, and some of the public rooms are much bigger. The arcade area is approx. 5 times bigger than the Victory. Some people seem to think the layout of the ship is bad. I don't. Deck 5 has the majority of the action on 1 single deck. To get to some of the other lounges and public rooms, it is only one or two decks down.

Sushi bar is great on deck 5. I wish they would expand their hours of operation a bit though. My dinner time was 6:15 and I found it next to impossible to go down to the sushi bar between 5pm-8:30pm. That is the only time it is open. The main dinner(s) in the "nice" dining rooms were fantastic. Every meal we had there was great. The only buffet I seem to enjoy anymore is during breakfast. It seems for lunch or dinner, there are only a couple of things that are really exceptional. The other options for lunch: the NY style deli has the same menu all week, but the sandwiches are prepared to order. (Great sandwiches) On the opposite side is the Chinese section. The menu changes every day. In my opinion, this is one of the best places for lunch. Very fresh Chinese food. And it's not always the "typical" things you would find at home. They have a couple of things that everyone would like, and then they will have a couple of dishes that are things you would find in Chinatown. We even tried the new Fish & Chips seafood station on the 2nd floor above the Red Sail cafe. This was really good as well.
