We boarded Millennium on our 44th wedding anniversary. They were waiting for us with decorations at our cabin door and in the room. At dinner the dining crew arrived and sang to us as the presented us with an anniversary cake. The crew remembered this throughout the cruise and mentioned it on more than one occasion. Later during the cruise I celebrated my 69th birthday and while in the speciality restaurant that evening, again the wait staff arrived with a special cake and sang to me. How they received the word from the main dining room staff is beyond me. Someone cared very much.

Our friends who were cruising and eating with us were amazed. Their other cruise experiences on other lines had not be anywhere near as nice. They are vegetarians and they couldn't believe the choice of foods offered them. One night the Assistant maitre d even offer them a special dish not offered on the menu.

I spent much time in the spa, something I haven't done in the past and was made to feel at home. Their staff made me feel welcome and special, as them seem to do with all guests who avail themselves of the facility. They helped me learn ways to loose weight and improve my general health.
