Let me start by saying this was our first cruise. We are a unmarried couple in our early 30's. Each year we vacation - usually to all inclusive resorts in Mexico.

We arrived at the port of Miami about 12...almost no lines. Were on ship having a drink at the pool before 1pm. We ere very impressed with the service. Everyone remembers your name....and what you drink! After getting settled, we wanted to take a nap. We used our cell phone as an alarm clock. This was a mistake. By that time we were already in another timezone, so we overslept and missed dinner. There are no clocks in room, recommend bringing an alarm clock from home. We finally left cabin at almost 9pm. The buffet was closing down, not much to chose from. We spent the rest of the night checking out all the bars/nightlife...then ended up in Casino until late.

Day 2 we arrived in Key West. SInce we didn't have much time in Key West (boat was leaving at 1pm) we stayed on the ship. After eating breakfast got chairs by the pool. It was very hot, and every 30 mins or so we would go in the pool. The pool was filled with kids - jumping, screaming, splashing. We would just get in long enough to cool off, then back to our chairs. Later in the afternoon, as the pool area filled up with everyone back on the ship...so we went in to participate in some trivia games. Its amazing how much they have to do all day. If you don't like the sun or pools, you could still find things to do. Finally made it to dinner that night. We were sat with 3 other unmarried young couples. We all hit it off and spent the rest of the cruise with them. That night we were in the Piano bar all night - great service, and a lot of fun. Read more
