This was our first cruise ever. Also, first time to Alaska. We reserved balcony room. Total cost for our BA balcony room was $3,669. That is 3,449-BA balcony + $140 service charge + $80 Specialty Restaurants. For a couple that works out to over $525 per day for lodging, transportation and food.! I've done a decent amount of traveling and you can get a lot of vacation for $525 per day.

We were pleased with what we received for that $525 per day. We received a very memorable, extremely relaxing trip on what appears to be a state-of the-art 21st century cruise ship.

Embarkation: I live in Seattle. We had some one drop us off at the Pier. Less than 1 hour from our doorstep to our stateroom. It would be impossible to complain about that! In fact one of the reasons we decided our vacation would be a cruise out of Seattle. Read more
