We arrived in Seattle the day before our cruise. We took a cab from downtown hotel to terminal 30 at the cost of $12.00 for 4 of us. We arrived at the terminal at about 10:30 a.m.. We dropped off our bags very easily and with no waiting. Check in was a breeze and took less than 10 minutes. However we were not able to get on the ship for about 1 hour. Chairs were provided. We were allowed on board around 11:30, but were unable to go to cabins until about 1:00p.m. because they were still being cleaned. We went straight to the Windjammer for lunch than toured ship some.
Muster drill at 3:30 (1/2 hour before sail) went smooth. We were supposed to set sail at 4:00p.m. but did not leave till closer to 5:00.
We had early seating dining at 6:00 p.m. and enjoyed the food and service very much. Notable were new menus that did not have appetizers, salads and soups separately. They were all listed together as starters. You were able to order more than one if you wanted. Service for main course was sometimes slow with fairly long waits between starters and main course. We had great staff for our table.
