Embarkation Arrived by taxi to the Pier in San Francisco - we've never cruised before so were very excited when we saw the top of the ship from the road - it looked huge.

The embarkation process seemed really quick to me - I didn't give it a second thought - 15 minutes top and that was even though we had arrived at the pier about 20 minutes before you were supposed to.

Welcome Lovely glass of champagne (or might have been sparkling wine - I don't know!) and we were in the Grand Foyer. Lunch was varied and plentiful in the Ocean Cafe. Read more
