This is our second cruise, the first was on Cunard's Queen Mary 2. I will not compare the two since the QM2 was a class-based cruise, while the Caribbean Princess was not.

I was at first hesitant about leaving from Brooklyn since I was not familiar with the area but gave myself extra time to get to the terminal. It was good thing because we missed the exit after coming out of the Battery Tunnel. We turned around after a couple of miles and found the terminal signs easy to follow to the terminal.

The approach to the terminal was a little congested as the single line entry was filled with busses, taxis and car services. There should have been a separate line for private cars that wished to take advantage of the terminal parking.

Cabin Review

Good room, clear view. Princess should look into smoke-free decks. Also, people are rude no matter where you go. There were sometimes cigarette butts on the deck from somewhere above us. One person we met found a condom.
