This was our 12th cruise and our third on Carnival. I brought my wife and my 5 year old son. We had not been on Carnival for several years.

We purchased 100 shares of stock in Carnival so we received a stateroom credit.

We booked the penthouse for the transatlantic cruise from Miami to Rome--9 sea-days and 5 ports. This is my ideal cruise since I find it hard to explore a city/port stop in 7 or 8 hours which is how long the port stops seem to be. The itinerary was GREAT for me. Totally relaxing.
