This is the first cruise for my husband and I. Needless to say we were very excited. Since we live in Florida we had my dad drive us the 200 miles to Miami. We arrived at the port and the porters were very helpful with our luggage and directing on us where to go. After a short wait we were able to check in. After that we were sent to another area where we waited, and waited then waited some more to board the ship. We were told the delay was caused by previous passengers still getting off the ship and then the security had to do a check. After about 90 minutes we were finally able to board. We went to see if our room was ready which it wasn't so we decided to have a snack at Windjammers until we could get in our room. When we finally did we were very impressed with our stateroom. The balcony was beautiful and met our expectations. The bed was great and we loved to safe in the closet. One downfall... there was a refrigerator in our room but it was full of their items that if you use, you pay for. So, we had no room to put our own items.

Food.... the food was good. We didn't use the dinning room as it always looked too packed. Instead we used Windjammers, Portofino's, Johnny Rockets and room service. By the way, Portofino's is AWESOME! Entertainment.... GREAT! Our cruise director Alan was very good and always had fun things for everyone to do. The ice show was the best. We went to two sittings of it. Not to be missed.

The pool was always too full so we never did use it. There was also a lot of chair hogs there. Read more
