This was our first cruise as well as our honeymoon! We flew into San Juan the day of the cruise. We got to the ship around 12:30pm and were onboard by about 2pm. We went to lunch on the Lido Deck and then got to our room. Our balcony cabin was excellent, plenty of space and we loved the view. We were towards the front of the ship and we did feel motion on most evenings but both of us took motion sickness meds every morning and were fine. Our cabin steward Nanang was amazing! He knew our names by the first night and our room always looked great (and we loved the towel animals).

The Destiny is an older ship but we thought she looked great. We had no problems and did not see anything wrong with her. The entertainment was 50/50. We didn't care for the singers and dancers but we loved the comics! The casino was fun even though we didn't win anything. We really liked the Onyx Bar and the jazz trio. We also thought the food in the dining rooms was amazing! We had late seating in the Galaxy dining room (we miss you Ernesto and Michael) and loved our dinner mates! The food on the Lido deck buffet was not as good but adequate. The grille, pizza place and deli were good. Room service was very good but slow. The eggs at the breakfast buffet were terrible but breakfast in the dining room or room service was good. We loved the chocolate melting cake! We also went to the art auction...caution, this could get very addicting! We ended up purchasing two pieces (well worth it). Here is what we did each day on our port-intensive cruise!

St. Thomas - We slept in this day to recover from our hectic wedding week! We got off the ship around lunch time and went shopping in the downtown area. I would probably go back to this port just to see more since we did very little this day.
