Sailed out of Miami. Flew to Fort Lauderdale then took Miami 411 transportation which was on time and pleasant and cheapest. Boarding onto the cruise was a very long line. They had people sitting in the lobby and waiting after registration until a certain number group was called. My other cruises, you registered and boarded right on, no matter if you were early or not. This really stunk and was a long wait.

I have to say our rooms were always clean. No matter when we left, the room was cleaned so many times a day. These guys really work for their tip. The dining room food, fast service, etc. was all very good. Food there was always good no matter what you felt like having. I really thought the desert menu could be changed up a bit and seemed to have the same desert line every night in the formal dining rooms. The breakfast was always the same. There were only peanut butter cookies and chocolate chip cookies from a box it seemed. I am a cookie person and these were not good and never anything new.

This ship is an old ship. So I guess after this ship they made the other ships better and you can definitely notice the difference if you traveled on other Carnival ships or cruise lines. You could never get to where you wanted to go without going up and down the stairs across halls, etc. So every time we wanted to get to the dining room, we had to go across halls, down a level, up an elevator, down a level, etc. etc. There was no clear way to any of the floor dining areas.
