Sail Date: May 2008

We just came back from our 3rd cruise with Carnival (May 4th thru May 10th, 2008). The ports of call were Key West, Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios. We were celebrating a dual family reunion. There was a total of 91 of us and Carnival Cruise Line was awesome!!!!

EMBARKATION: We left out of the Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. 33 of us rented a bus to take us down to the port, while other family members drove to the port or took the plane. Embarkation was very smooth. The lines were long but they moved very fast. Make sure that you sign on line for the fun pass. This is the only way to go!! Super quick!

Carnival Liberty: What a HUGE ship!!! When we first got on, we were all sent up to the lido deck since we weren't allowed to go to our cabin until 1:30p.m. That was not a problem for us since our cabin was on the lido deck. We had a balcony and that is the way to go. My husband and I don't smoke, so it was nice to be on our own balcony. There are three pools on this ship with a few hot tubs. The pools and hot tubs were not crowded and it was always easy to find a deck chair. The slide is awesome! My husband used it (I was too chicken!) Our room steward Suzie was always there. Our room was spotless and well kept. She was always checking to see if we needed anything.
