Background: This was a 2-week vacation with our two children (age 4 and 7 months). We spent the first 5 days in Disneyland and then boarded in San Pedro for the trip back up to Vancouver.

Hotel: We stayed 5 days at the Grand California Hotel on Disney property. Very nice hotel - extremely convenient. We used Express Shuttle to take us from the hotel to the pier.

Embarkation: We were given preferred tickets because we had booked a suite. Our luggage arrived in our room soon after we got to our cabin. Our suite was roomy, but the decor (blue) felt dated. Nice shower and we appreciated the higher thread count sheets and duvet. Read more
