this was our 4 cruise with royal caribbean. we are about 2 hrs away from the port. we left home around 8. did not know what we would find with the traffic. no problems. husband dropped the luggage and me off around 10. went into the terminal. they were not checking anyone in yet. went to get some coffee when they did. sat in the priority departure for 45 minutes before we were allowed to go out and board the bus for the less then 4 minute drive to the ship. went straight up to the windjammer for some lunch. a little after 1, we were in our cabin. grand suite 1268. our cabin steward was joel. kept the room clean. even though we wanted to keep our towels for later in the day, he would replace them each time we used them. was very chilly for sail away. warmer the next day.

bermuda: this would have been our 1st trip there, but we did not make it. a woman became ill and we had to go back towards the US coast to meet a coast guard helicopter.

st maarten: this was our 4th time there. took the water taxi into town. shopped a little and then instead of going to maho beach to watch the planes, we sat for almost 2 hrs waiting for the parade. overheard a policeman tell someone, it would be another hour or so, till it got there. so we took the water taxi back over to the pier. sat at the bar for a couple of drinks and then went back to the ship.
