First off, this was our first cruise. To all who are unsure of booking flights and organizing the trip for yourself, fear not. It was a breeze, everything was perfect, on time, and easy to figure out. Arriving to the port of Miami we were greeted by helpful people who took our luggage and pointed us on our way. We waited a 1/2 hour, went through the checkpoints and setup our seapass. Very organized and quick. We were on the ship very early and were asked to enjoy the Windjammer cafe for lunch until our room was ready at 1:00. Food was good, not great but much to choose from. We went to our room 9512, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and very new looking. The bathroom was small but clean and organized and really all we needed. It didn't take us long to realize the service on the ship. Lulu the cruise director was great fun. Our waiter staff was unbelievable, Prasad our waiter is a great guy. I have never had better service, and with a smile. The food in the dining room was very good and well presented. Glinda our room attendant was so friendly and even took the time to remember my name, my wives, my daughter, and her friends name. My daughter loved her towel animals she made. I have never seen a staff so happy. Nassau was fun. We went to Paradise Island and enjoyed the dig. This kept us busy for most of the day. Plenty of activities and a beautiful clean ocean. Coco Cay was cancelled. We went out to watch the tender try to make the run. No thanks, good call. My daughter was very upset, but she would have never sailed on that tender anyway. We enjoyed a very relaxing and well needed break sitting by the pool. My daughter did the rock wall and I don't remember her ever complaining about Coco cay again. Key west was the most fun. So much to do. We rented a Gem car for a couple of hours and cruised around everywhere. My wife and daughter loved the shopping and spent plenty of money. We watched the comedian on TV. He was very good. We were just to tired to go to the show. The juggler was amazing. We sat on the front row and my daughters friend got involved with the show. It was so funny. The last night we went to the dancing and singing show. Not really my thing but the previous shows were so good we needed to check it out. Wow, what talented people. We sat on the front row and felt like we were in the show. Sadly back in Miami we knew our cruise was over. Yes they ask you to leave early but they give you plenty of warning. The ship does have to sail again at 5:00. Again everything went smooth off of the ship. In summary the trip was perfect. I cant wait to go again. The service was most noticeable. They really roll the red carpet out for you. The clean ship was next on the list. They are constantly cleaning. I did here some complaints and have read some here. Remember you get what you pay for. If you only want to pay for a room as big as a broom closet don't complain its small. There are things that have to be done. The muster drill, the checkins at ports, and entering back into USA. don't complain to Royal Caribbean, its not there rules.
