Excellent vacation! Got back yesterday and literally cried in the car as I pulled away from the ship parking lot. I know pathetic but when you go on this cruise you will see why. We stayed in a grande suite and I can not tell you enough how our cabin steward Manuel did everything to accommodate us the first day. He was pleasant, professional and not overbearing. Every day he would great us with a smile. The ship we thought was the perfect size and all the amenities were exactly as we expected. Truly had a great time...the waiters were excellent we had Arvind from India and Carlos from Mexico as well as Shaliesh Patel as our head waiter. They were always so kind and spot on with the dinner recommendations. We were lucky also to get a table for two which Ricky the concierge helped us with. We really did not want to sit with people for dinner. We are both in sales on wallstreet and we have to talk to people all day long..last thing we want to do is go on a cruise and feel like we need to chat it up with folks. After all we were on vacation and wanted to relax.

We were on the bermuda and east caribbean cruise 9 days April 25th. We never made it to Bermuda though as a lady fell very ill and we had to get a helicopter to medically evacuate. Most were disappointed that we could not got to Bermuda as the medical evacuation forced us back closer to shore where the helicopter could reach the ship... we were still quite far out to sea by the time the helicopter did reach the ship as no land could be seen. I have to say that the captain and crew of the ship as well as the US Coast Guard did an excellent job in getting the medical evacuation done. We could see it occur from the top of the ship and I have to applaud them as this was no easy task and a very dangerous one at that. I hope the lady is fine. We heard she was in the ICU unit in a hospital in VA. We all had her in our thoughts and her family as well....We were told she would not have survived without this rescue. Needless to say this really instilled for me HUGE confidence of RCL in handling an emergency in a professional and empathetic manner..KUDOS for that...

So we had three days at sea instead of one down and then bermuda and then sea again...but no one minded as the weather was now great....many people were out and about on the pool decks and I have to say all the drinks were flowing
