We booked two cabins (2303 & 3207) for our 12 yo, 3 yo, 2 yo & myself for April 20-26th on the Liberty. Our son & myself had cruised many years ago on Disney but my husband & daughters -had never cruised. I know different people like different things & what may have bothered me may be no biggie to someone else.
Embarkation- was long & tedious. It took us just a bit over 2 hours from end of line to cabin. I don't think there is much they could do to change the process though other than more "security" to keep the obnoxious line-cutters where they belong- at the end of the line.
Cabins (8203/8207) are Connecting rooms with decks on the Verandah Level. Rooms were nice & spacious for a cruise ship (from what I've read & heard). We spent much time on the balcony- especially after we had them unlock the dividing door between the two rooms giving us a double size balcony- nice touch! It took 2 days & several phone calls to have it done but once it was done we loved the super sized balcony! Our Cabin Steward- not very good. There were robes in our closet with a note from the prior guest, to him, telling him they hadn't worn them so he didn't have to wash them. We also found a pile of garbage (old food included-ICK) that had been from a March sailing (it was a port itinerary) that fell out of the garbage onto the floor & was never picked up. He also felt it ok to offer our kids candy on numerous occasions- whether it be 7am or 10 pm, without checking with us first). Her basically made the bed & filled the ice bucket. That's it. Nothing more, other than having the nerve to try & commandeer an additional tip on the last evening. If he had given exceptional service- we would have been happy but for his bad service - he should have been be thanking us for what he got already instead of angling for more!
