Well I'm back from the Destiny. 4/20/08. I flew in a day early to San Juan and Thank goodness for that because my Mothers flight from DC was cancelled and she was not able to arrive in San Juan until midnight on that Saturday.

Embarkation - Great. This was the smoothest I have ever had. We left our hotel (Howard Johnsons - Old San Juan) at 12pm on Sunday and we at the pier in 2 min by taxi. ($12.00) We walked right in and checked in and were on the boat having lunch by 1pm on the lido deck.

This is the second time I had an inside cabin, I do not prefer them but this was just a cruise with my Mom and she did not prefer balconies. Our cabin steward was great, she made lots of towel animals each night. Read more
