BACKGROUND: My wife and I have cruised nine times prior to this one. We have tested out Carnival, Celebrity, Princess and Royal Caribbean. Now that we have tried all four, we have realized that Princess is the one we are going to stick with. Don't get me wrong, this was a good cruise just not the bang I was hoping for. But I have to admit, this ship was the nicest out of 10 we have been on!!!!!

ARRIVAL AT PORT: A We arrived at port at 1115 hours and entered the embarkation area to begin our cruise. We found ourselves on board by 1210 hours (we would have been on quicker but waited for our friends who were returning the rental car). We probably would have been on board by 1145 hours.

ONCE ON BOARD: B- Once on ship, we were told our rooms would not be ready until 1300 hrs. We were directed to the Windjammer for lunch while waiting for our rooms. This was the first revelation that there was a massive amount of people on board. Being optimistic, I held onto the notion that the reason it seemed so filled was because everyone was corralled into one area until the rooms were ready. As I began to hunt for my first meal, I found the people on board were either starving or suffering from tunnel vision when they spotted their first food line. It was unbelievable how rude some people were - and I am not only referring to the young ones who are completely impervious to their surroundings. I am also referring to some "adults" who would walk right through me to get to the mashed potatoes without as much as a "pardon me" or "excuse me".
