This review is written from the perspective of having cruised on Royal Caribbean twice in the past, once on Sovereign of the Seas, and once on Mariner of the Seas. We are in our mid-forties, with no children.

Pre-Cruise

We stayed on day pre-cruise at the Caribe Hilton in the Punta Terra district of San Juan. While the hotel and grounds are beautiful, we would not stay here again because of the limited options for restaurants within walking distance. Lunch and dinner at the hotel were fairly expensive. A tent camp protesting the building of a new hotel was set up outside, with heavy police presence, which made crossing the bridge into the Condado uncomfortable.
