Here is a brief description of our a wonderful 2 week holiday. Family of 4 - two girls aged 6 and 8 Serenade of the seas 5 April 2008 and Adventure of the Seas 13 April 2008 both from San Juan. Stayed night in between cruises at Marriott Stellaris ( $155 rate thanks to priceline dot com)

Both embarkations and disembarkations very easy quick and courteous.

Cruise one - Serenade of the seas 5 April 2008 St Thomas - Island tour Megan's Bay by Taxi St Maarten - Hired car from Best Deals- $60 all in but would not recommend at all. Girls had a pony ride along beach at Oceania Ranch on Oyster pond, right on beach perfect short ride on well cared for horses, run by a French guy. Orient beach, followed our noses down to Bikini bar and rented chairs etc it has toilets and shower and good food. Beach is good but very busy and covered in loungers from one end to the other. Antigua Pirate ship Black Swan RCI tour - ok but not worth the money $58 esp. since there are no child prices St Lucia - Island tour with COSOL tours. Excellent , lovely driver Sam Barbados - Green Monkey 4x4 RCI tour - quite good but not really a 'nature reserve' more like a zoo and we didn't see many monkeys! Very short 4x4 off road section.
