Sail Date: Apr 2008

We sailed 4/5/08-4/12/08 out of tampa on the Grandeur. It is one of the smaller older boats, but everything was nice. We had one sticky drawer in our room that was annoying, but overall not bad. Our room (2096) was right over the tender bay, so it was loud on those days. Several people told me that they could hear engine noises on port days on level 2. I recommend avoiding 2nd floor all together & going up to 3.

Pool is relatively small w/ almost 1/2 dedicated to shallow (4-6") water for kids or sunbathing. There is also a nice indoor pool for those 16+. It is hard to layout, b/c the wind is pretty breezy across the deck, especially if you are on the high balcony. The pool water is salt water, so don't be surprised. There are 6 hot tubs - 4 outdoor & 2 indoor.

One side of boat is non-smoking the other is smoking in the public areas, as well as the casino (which you have to walk through on 5th floor to get to the theater). We ended up sitting in the balcony after the first night b/c I can't handle the smoke.
