We flew into L.A. three days early so we could see the sights around town. Stayed at the Sheraton Delfina in Santa Monica and it was just a lovely hotel, near lots of things to see, do and great restaurants. Took the Super Shuttle to the pier early and got there before the crowds ... we're probably the first ones to get on the ship ... EASY embarkation and quite pleasantly organized.

The 12th deck had a lovely buffet set up ... easy to find everything you wanted and more. The Executive Sous Chef of the Market cafe, Nicholas, was just ideal. The sweetest person I've met and he went out of his way to make sure we loved everything there. The best chocolate chip cookies I've ever tasted.

Got into our cabin earlier than the 1:30 time and it was quite ample. We were in a mini-suite and the only major problem, is that the shelves are inside the closet and the closet has no light. SO... hard to find your stuff when you're ready to dress for the day or dinner ... but other than that, we enjoyed the cabin.
