This was basically the families first cruise. We brought the kids with us, 2 boys 16 and 13 and a little girl 6. We got on the ship Sunday in Miami and found our room and unloaded our carry on bags. We then went to the Tzar dining room for lunch. We had a wonderful 4 course lunch with very friendly and fast service. After lunch we went on deck to say goodbye to Miami. Monday was our first day at sea. Every time I saw my boys they were eating something. There were a lot of families on our cruise and lots of kids for ours to interact with. They had a cute (but small) kids pool and hot tub(mild temps). The water in the kids pool was about the temperature of the hot tub so it was comfortable and it was shielded from any winds. My daughter tried out the kids club and she loved it and begged to go back. My boys spent a lot of time at the basketball court at the back of the ship. That is where they met most of their "friends". That night we dressed up a bit and ate our formal dinner. People were dressed in everything from suits to capris and casual shirts (me). I felt comfortable in what I was wearing. We ate at Azura's main dining room. I really liked Tzar's better. It is more open and bigger to me.

Tuesday we were in Cozumel. Getting off the ship was not bad at all. Very smooth process. There were shops right across the street from the pier so that was nice. We chose the Play Mia Beach resort for out excursion. The beach was nice but my only complaint was that they packed so many people on such a small strip of beach. We were literally packed in by rows. They did have the open bar and soft drinks, which was nice. The buffet was awesome and they had a nice covered pavilion with the food and plenty of chairs. My daughter got the front half of her hair braided for $30 there. Other than the crowding it was nice. We got back to the pier with time to spare so we could go shopping. Getting back on the ship was easy and quick too. When we were leaving the port we had nice music and activities on deck. That night we had some pretty choppy seas and there were a lot that were sea sick. I could not really eat that night (along with a lot of people on ship). Wednesday we arrived at Grand Cayman. The seas were a little choppy still but by the time we left port it was smooth sailing. We took the island tour at Grand Cayman. GC was very clean and everyone was so friendly. The driving was a little scary though! When we were done we had plenty of time to shop. We ate lunch at Jimmy Buffet's (very good food) and then shopped. I did not think the prices were that bad for souvenirs. There is no pier at Grand Cayman so we had to take ferry boats.Even with the choppy water the ride was very smooth.

Thursday was our last day and at sea. We spent the day just relaxing. My daughter spent most of her time in the kids club and my boys hung out with friends they had met. That night we ate at Tango's. It was very good. Every where you go there are hand sanitizer machines and at the entrance to every restaurant there are greeters with bottles of sanitizer to spray on your hand if you wish. There were also washer and dryers on our deck at no cost. The box of Tide soap cost a dollar. We did wash our swim suits after swimming at the beach.
