This was our 3rd cruise with our last cruise April of 2007 on the Victory. We arrived in Orlando and rented a car and drove to the port of Tampa. We opted for the valet parking for the extra $12. The process of getting on the ship was a breeze and no where near as chaotic as in Miami last year. We were on the ship having lunch by noon. The Inspiration has been updated within the last six months and it was noticeable in the public areas and in the staterooms with the flat screen TV.

There were many pro's and con's with this ship. I will start with the stateroom. The OV room was standard for a ship. What I did not like about the upgrades is that they did not put adequate shelving in the bathroom for toiletries or a shelf in the shower area to put your shampoo. They also do not supply a hairdyer. Another problem we had was that the bathroom always had a sewer smell to it. The cabin next to us had the same problem as well as our childrens inside cabin across the hall. This problem could not be rectified throughout the cruise and we had to live with the foul odor.On the plus side the beds were very comfortable.

The inspiration was a beautiful ship, but it had a very confusing layout and we spent a lot of time walking in the wrong direction. Not all the elevators took you to where you wanted to go and we had to walk through the buffet dining room to get to the pool area from our cabin. We spent some time at the piano bar, but Milburn could not hold a candle to Eric on the Victory.
