Freestyling on the Dawn

Some random thoughts - my wife and I, both in our 50's, decided to try Freestyle Cruising with NCL. Been on Royal Caribbean, Princess, and NCL before, all traditional format. Loved the Freestyle Concept and experience.

Arrived at the port in Miami around 10:45 A.M. Embarkation process was painless, well organized, and quite smooth. We were on the ship by 11:40. Wanted to make reservations at the specialty restaurants for that night and the following evening. There was some confusion on where to do this, as there was no one available at one of the designated locations, but, when we asked the first person in a uniform how to resolve the problem, she called the person who was doing the reservations, and let us use her phone to make the arrangements. More on the specialty restaurants and reservation process later.
