Review of Constellation Ultimate Caribbean March 10, 2008

Overall impressions This is my fifth time on Celebrity, second on Constellation. I cruise once a year on Celebrity with my mother (68) and sister (45). I enjoy anything connected with the water - beach, diving, snorkeling, but I'm not much for the disco or silly pool games on board. I enjoy eating and fine food and travel frequently to collected Michelin star dining experiences. I'm not a neat freak or terribly picky about curtains, carpet, linens, etc., but enjoy a clean environment. Constellation is in good shape with a lot of continual maintenance. Her staff is friendly and they offer terrific service.

Embarkation We arrived at Port Everglades at 1:30 and were onboard and in our room just after 2:00 - very quick and efficient. The Captains Club line was very short - longer lines for suites and regular check-in. We enjoyed the buffet lunch at 2:30 (pork cutlet, au gratin potatoes, vegetables, Caesar salad), but it was very crowded. I purchased the soda package ($5 per day) and was pleased to receive a larger portable mug this year - it got a lot of use.
