This is our third Christmastime cruise and after Royal Caribbean and Norwegian experiences, were expecting a somewhat disappointment in this cruise. WE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE MISTAKEN!! The ship isn't as new or glitzy as RCL, but the Victory took the prize for cleanliness and great service.

We flew to San Juan a few days early to enjoy the island. American Airlines screwed up with our luggage, and the airline's representatives in San Juan did little to make us feel good. After three days and a trip to the mall to buy me (Mr.) all new vacation clothes, we finally left the island we promise never to return to!

The Victory was great from the beginning. Their loading technique is something both RCL and NCL could learn. We moved right along, and never stood still in one place for more than a few minutes. The service people were great and efficient and we got right onto the ship. We went to our cabin to drop off hand-held baggage, and were shocked to see our luggage already at the door!
